We’ve finally moved into our new home on 17 November 2007. It’s a long awaited moment which has finally materialized - after a prolonged period of hard work and dedication.
Got the keys somewhere in March or April, and been working on the house since then. Every weekend without fail was filled with gathering items for the house, scouting for quotations and deciding on the best deals and designs, etc. We even designed our own grilles for windows and doors.
Looking for the right items for the right corners is never easy, in terms of size, design and colour. Believe it or not, we’ve only found the TV cabinet a month after moving in – been looking for it WAY before that. So long that we almost gave up! And till now, we’re still looking for the right console table. Hehehee...
Anyway, this is a painting that graces one of the walls. B and I fell in love with it at first sight.
